Awakn. was founded in 2022 in Palm Beach, on the Gold Coast by Amy Donohue, a Massage Therapist and Holistic Healer. Her passion for promoting health and wellness inspired her to open Awakn. a relaxing space for clients to revitalise their body, mind and soul.

Amy is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, Reiki and Sound Healer.

She completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2004 and began working in the industry before diverting and going into retail for a number of years. Never loosing the call to heal people, she continued massaging on the side helping family and friends and continued her studies going on to complete her Reiki Master in 2023.

In March 2022, Amy couldn’t deny her passion or gifts any longer and finally had the calling to leave retail and make holistic healing her full time job birthing Awakn. Holistic Health Studio. She has continued her studies, completing a sound healing course and plans on studying a Shamanic Healing Course and Hypnotherapy.

When Amy’s not in the studio, she enjoys spending time in nature, at the beach, practising mediation and continuing to explore ways to expand her knowledge.
